Default Luxon or Kurzick

I was just wondering what side you guys will take for the FPE and why. Is each side beneficial in a certain way... or is there not much of a difference?

Luxon:14

I will take whichever side declares themselves opposed to University of Michigan (nice avatar). I am guessing the elitism and social darwinism of the Kurzicks makes them closer to that school, so lets say Luxon until i have more information.

I honestly hate both, neither truly appeals to me...
But our guild does prefer stability, civilization and order over a nomadic lifestyle, so I suppose we will be siding with the Kurzicks. I'd just like to say that that Kurzick Faction Transfer NPC in the Guild Halls looks sooo wierd...

Sounds eerily like Rohan (the nomadic/rural Luxon people) versus Gondor (the civilized/order-based Kuzrick people).

Luxon

The Luxons are a seafaring nation in the continent of Cantha who lived by the Jade Sea. Since the Jade Wind turned that sea into solid jade, they have become a nomadic nation mining the solid sea for treasures and traveling on great ships pulled by giant turtles or snails. The Luxons are locked in a constant feud with the Kurzicks.

Luxons are divided into three clans: The Serpent, the Turtle and the Crab. They are governed by the Council of Elders. Their clans often clash in skirmishes to demonstrate power. Such skirmishes take place between champions on opposing sides accompanied by their elite guards.

Kurzicks

The Kurzicks are a religious people that make their homes in the Echovald Forest. They are one of three nations on the continent of Cantha. The Kurzicks are at continuous war with the Luxons.

Since the death of Shiro Tagachi, the Kurzicks slowly crept into the Echovald Forest and settled there. They have carved their homes and buildings in the trunks of the giant petrified trees.

The Kurzicks are a spiritual people who see signs in everything around them. Divination and foreseeing the future have a prominent place in their culture. Their society is a church-state governed by the Council of Nobles who stipulate laws and make decisions based on the guidance of their spiritual leaders, the Redemptors. There are five Great Houses that lead the Kurzick nation with lineages that can be traced to the earliest history of Cantha and beyond.

hmmm... I'm kinda leaning Kruzicks, but I still don't know enough about either group to justify me picking one or the other.

I'll just wait until tomorrow to find out more into.

Definitely Luxon.

I'd go with them just cause it reminds me of Farscape, but as an added bonus being a pirate helps fight global warming!

I'm only worried that the Luxons might be a bit of a noob magnet. Not that i have anything against noobs, but in large numbers...well they can be a bit overwhelming...

I don't know what I dislike more... Siding with everyone in the game (luxons) or siding with religious zealots (kurzicks)... Oh well... I'll just wait and see what my guild does.

I'm going with Kurzicks on this one. They're more religious, which means (hopefully) more ways of entering FoW/UW.
